Practical, person-centred support to help you or your loved one live safely, comfortably and independently at home.
Helping You Feel
Confident at Home
General home care is for people who need practical or personal support at home but do not require specialist complex care. This can include children, adults, people with disabilities, people recovering from illness or surgery, or anyone who needs extra help with daily activities.
Support can include personal care, medication, mobility, meal preparation, household tasks and companionship, as well as help with appointments, shopping and accessing the community.
Whether you need occasional support or regular home care, we create personalised care plans based on what you need help with and what you want to remain independent in.
Our goal is simple: to help you stay safe, comfortable and involved in everyday life.
Everyday Support,
Tailored to You.
Our home care support can help with the practical tasks that make everyday life more difficult, including:
- Personal care – post surgical nursing care, washing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Medication support – prompts and medication administration where appropriate
- Meals & household tasks – meal preparation, shopping and light domestic support
- Mobility – support moving safely around the home and when going out
- Companionship – conversation, hobbies and social activities
- Appointments & community access – attending appointments, errands and activities
Who Can Benefit From General Home Care?
At NursLink Homecare, we provide personalised support tailored to each person’s needs, circumstances and stage of life.
It may help an older person who is struggling with daily tasks, someone returning home after a hospital stay, an adult living with a disability, or a person who needs additional support as their circumstances change. It can also provide valuable support for families who are finding it difficult to manage a loved one’s care alongside work or other commitments.
Whether support is needed temporarily following an illness or injury, or as an ongoing arrangement, we can help provide the practical assistance needed to make life at home more manageable, and enjoyable.
From First Contact to Care
Starting home care is straightforward. Get in touch with our team to discuss your circumstances, what support is needed and the type of care you’re looking for.
We’ll then arrange an initial assessment to understand your needs in more detail, including your daily routine, preferences, risks and any specific requirements. From this, we’ll agree the most suitable care package and support plan with you.
Once everything is agreed, we’ll match you with suitable carers, arrange your care and make sure everyone involved understands your plan before support begins.
After care starts, we maintain regular communication and reviews to ensure the service continues to meet your needs.
